This web page was created in hope of locating an oil painting of Captain John Denison (1755-1824).

Sometime during the 1980s, my grandmother (Atha Maclean of British Columbia), who is a Denison, sold a portrait of Captain Denison that had been in our family for several generations to a distant Denison relative living (I believe) in Ontario.
